Speaker 2Hello, we are live, we are live.
Speaker 3Oh, that was live.
Speaker 1Okay, gentlemen, how we doing. That was doing great, yeah, yeah starting off the year good, still positive vibes. Yeah, new Year's resolutions intact. Not me, I don't really, I don't do my new year's resolution is to be healthy.
Speaker 3I'm working on it, but it's a work in progress.
Speaker 1Are you more healthy than what you were when the years started? It's a work in progress. Well, let's, I think we want to start the discussion off today with our Games of the year. Yes, obviously, baldur's Gate 3 kind of took All the awards a lot of a lot of them, yeah.
Speaker 1A couple people feel like some things got snubbed. Other people feel like that Baldur's Gate should, should have gotten even more. In some cases it's kind of interesting with Baldur's Gate it's not really in Larian Studios, it's not really an independent student like an indie studio. There's hundreds of employees there, right, and so I don't maybe not hundreds, but like maybe a hundred thousand, so it's millions.
Speaker 3That much, so it's not that much.
Speaker 1So it's not. You can't really call it like an indie game. I wouldn't call Baldur's Gate 3 an indie game. Would you call it a triple-a title? I Would. I would probably call it a triple-a title there.
Speaker 3I mean I would say they're indie up until now. Now, now they're not indie anymore. It's same thing that happened in CD project red. They were indie up until Witcher 3.
Speaker 1Even between from Witcher 1 and 2. Huh, I would say so, I mean think about the just. You don't think would you even hear about?
Speaker 3I mean that was rated as one of the greatest RPGs of all time but it was still a very niche like it was a CRPG. Very niche like it wasn't like it was. I mean the differences For the common gamer. Everybody's heard of Baldur's Gate. How many people heard of Divinity Original Sin 2 that wasn't in that realm already.
Speaker 1That's true. Yeah, that's a very good point. Divinity Original Sin and broke onto the mass market.
Speaker 3They have 450 employees, so I don't know when. At what point does that become Triple-a studio?
Speaker 1I think probably what would. How would we define it? Over a hundred employees, I mean over a hundred, that's even, that's so massive. Still Obviously, obviously, you've got business operations and you've got other stuff going on as well, but like over a hundred employees, that's significant, that's substantial.
Speaker 2But then it's also hard because it's like what Like would you count Star Citizen as a triple-a game development company? Yeah, yeah, wait, I was thinking.
Speaker 3I thought I was thinking Starfield.
Speaker 2I was like, I was like Starfield, yeah, star.
Speaker 1Citizen.
Speaker 2That's an interesting question because it's a game in in like endless alpha right.
Speaker 1I would say it's a triple-a game, but it's not a triple-a studio. Okay cuz.
Speaker 2Baldur's Gate was also an alpha for not. I'm not even comparing the two, but I'm just saying Baldur's like I do. Would you define a triple-a studio as a company that releases a full game like that, or Can you have a game that's an alpha?
Speaker 1I would say what makes a triple-a studio is like where it in it in and of itself is a brand in in which, when they can release a game like, all they have to do is announce that they're working on a project and Lots of people get stirred up and it inspired and like, oh my god, I can't wait to play it you guys are awesome. That to me, is what like. What could I would?
Speaker 3I would have could be wrong on this too. So I mean, don't quote me on this, but I think that's Baldur's Gate. Baldur's Gate is when they did release an alpha. It was literally only the first act, like you couldn't go beyond act one, and so that, technically, is like a really big demo.
Speaker 1Yes, not like a You're right I, you could only do up to act you can complete act one.
Speaker 3Listen to this. I mean, you just pulled up here too. This is this is such a broad definition for triple-a game. It's more about the publisher than high budget, high profile games that are typically produced and distributed by large, well-known publishers.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 3So, yeah, I understand, I think the game Baldur's Gate 3 has made them a triple-a studio. I don't think I would agree for this.
Speaker 1So I would say it was a high budget game. They. They were their own publisher, though, right, yeah, they didn't work through another publisher. Yeah, they're, it's just a. So I don't know if I could consider this a Major publisher. I wouldn't call consider layering it up until this point now it now, of course, it might be a Major publisher, but I don't know. It's kind of like a weird, weird designation. Again, we talked about that. We, you could do this with anything. Right, we could do this with triple-a. What does that mean? We could do this with what's what's really an RPG, what's an action game? You?
Speaker 1know like when we try to define that, it's like well, actually, because of this element, role-playing games just sort of blend into each other.
Speaker 3I think, more than any other genre, role-playing games have the most subgenres of any genre.
Speaker 2Probably. It's insane. It's such a general term.
Speaker 1It's like like.
Speaker 3Elden Ring is an RPG, baldur's Gate is an RPG, but those could not be any more different than each other. Like it, john. Rpgs is such a broad genre, it's crazy.
Speaker 3Yeah it's not. Like you know, halo's a shooter called Do you the shooter? The game it's. The games themselves are very different, but the Concept is the same as the far as like the, the bones of it, you know. But the bones of Baldur's Gate is nothing like Skyrim. Or, you know, elden Ring or Pokemon or like those are all RPGs, they're the same game. They're all the same game. It's crazy.
Speaker 1So our games of 2023. Mm-hmm, what was? Instead of just making it like one and we have to call it out and like define it, why don't we just talk about the games that we love playing? Yeah, what if we just did that.
Speaker 3You could do that. I still feel like we should pick our top.
Speaker 1Yeah, I have to talk about it for hours, but sure.
Speaker 3Who wants to go first? Let's just do what we always do, sorry.
Speaker 2I'll go first. I so I had to do a quick refresher here and just see what games actually came out, and then we just pulled up here on the screen the games that came out as well, and I'll try and there's actually a few. So I'm glad Billy said like that we are gonna. You know that we're gonna talk about our favorite games, not just one, but I probably five, five list.
Speaker 3Yeah, I could probably pick five.
Speaker 2That's good. That's good Talking about it and thinking about it. The game that, like I played the most and If that's how I'm gonna define my favorite, like is I. I went through. It's gonna be dead space.
Speaker 3I was actually just looking at that and I was like Mandela did, like that it was I.
Speaker 2I beat it on the hardest difficulty and I did two more playthroughs after that to get the secret ending, and so I did a total Like four playthroughs of the story and I just had so much fun. I can't wait for dead space to. I hope they do that, but, um, so I would say that's my top one, like if I had to choose one dead space, even though it is a remake.
Speaker 1I think that was your favorite game to play in 2023.
Speaker 2I think so and I I think it's an amazing remake too. It's not. It's not a piece of garbage like what's an example of a piece of garbage remake we've had recently.
Speaker 3Prince of Urge.
Speaker 2That one didn't even come out. They said yeah, throw that demon back in the fire kingdoms of Amalur the rewrecking.
Speaker 3Yeah, that was the same game the game is called kingdoms of Amalur reckoning, and the remake was called kingdoms of Amalur the rewrecking Is it? I don't think there was a noticeable change. No, problem?
Speaker 2Probably not so after that I would say Probably spider-man was what I was most hyped for. I enjoyed it a lot, but I'm actually I'm not gonna rate them number one through five, but that one would probably be lower on my list just in in staying power. I don't know it. They released it still doesn't have new game plus and it doesn't have a bunch of features from the first spider-man or even Miles Morales. So I don't, until that comes out, it's kind of dead to me right now. Like I played through it, I hundred percent of it got the platinum done, but other than that, armor.
Speaker 3I was about the first one too true, no.
Speaker 2but then they had a new game plus. I was like, let me go back through it Armored core. Really good, I love that game. I now was not shocked.
Speaker 1He didn't say that instead of a.
Speaker 3Instead of you were pretty hyped about that.
Speaker 1Well yes, but I feel like you were having so much, I think you just didn't talk about that space as much as because it was.
Speaker 2We already remake.
Speaker 3Yeah, I've already been through it. It wasn't like it was brand new but that space was so good.
Speaker 2Oh, the systems they added, like they added, I think it's like called the terror Director or something like that too, and what it does is, every time you enter a room, it's like a, it's a AI, but it's not it's. You know it's. It's designed to creep you out, so it has this whole algorithm bait in play, where it's like we'll play this creepy sound when he comes in. Every time you enter room, the algorithm figures out what it's gonna do, and it's always different. So every replay You're always getting scared.
Speaker 2It's always new. Yeah, there's always. Like you'll walk into a room that's smoking, it's never smoky. You're like, okay, this is a little weird. Right After armored core, I would then go to probably final fantasy. Yes, red fall, final fantasy 16, that XB one yeah, that I really enjoyed. And now that I'm watching through Game of Thrones, they stole so much. Oh, yeah, they stole so much, or I guess not stole but inspired by, like it's, plagiarism. But I did really enjoy that one and I I never finished it. I've.
Speaker 2I'm surprised I did because of how long it is and how like story Heavy it is, but I enjoyed the story and the main thing was the kaiju fights for me. I was like give me more of those and I'm good. And then I mean I'd see a bunch of other good games on here, but those I would say those are my top contenders. Resident Evil 4 was good I. Super Mario's Bros Wonder is is fun. It's Mario game. Hogwarts legacy was amazing, but it kind of it sucks because it came out like at the very beginning of 2023, so it's lost fresh yeah.
Speaker 1Yeah, I was like February or thank you when it first came out. All right, billy, already that long ago. So looking at this list, I played wo long and that's definitely at the bottom my list. I think there was like 12. There was like 12 stars long hated it.
Speaker 2Let me, let me choose my bottom. Yeah, let's see, it would be out of up there. Star for that, honestly. You didn't mention legends over oh.
Speaker 3You played the show that.
Speaker 2Zelda was good shoot, that would go my list. But Starfield, yeah, I played exactly like 40 minutes of it and I was like this is ass.
Speaker 1And then I haven't picked it up since I got it for free on game pass imagine a developer and like all the team that's worked on that for like seven years, to Like bring this vision and then they sell to you and it's like please, I can't wait for you to enjoy this, you know, and you play it for 40 minutes. That means that was almost a dollar a minute. Well no.
Speaker 2I get you playing game pass. Thankfully, so it was free.
Opinions on Various Video Games
Speaker 1Well long was definitely a disappointment. I was actually I got like kind of weirdly on the hype train for this game he did, and I played the, the beta, and then I played the game and you know, honestly, like the, the mechanics of it, coming from like a traditional souls background, were fun enough, but it did not capture me and then some of the fights I did not like. I Did not like some of the encounters and the movements and stuff. It felt a little janky. But that was. That's definitely at the bottom list. It was just not, it wasn't for me. I wouldn't say it's a bad game and just it wasn't for me.
Speaker 1At what you know, I think there's plenty of people who enjoyed it, but I also think there was a lot of people who kind of were like what the fuck? They felt like the layouts and those. Some of the default buttons, especially for like mouse and keyboard, were very kind of questionable. But the same shit for Elden Ring. So let's be real, like to do a special weapon on an Elden Ring. I think I had a hold shift left click right click twice.
Speaker 1It was like to get the, to get the flame animation from my Sort of night and flame or whatever. Like six things you have to hit to get it to go. I Loved Hogwarts legacy like I love, loved it. It was so much fun. I had a great time playing that game. It was super buggy when it first came out, but the bugs weren't like. It wasn't like you're crashing bugs, there was just quirky, weird lag.
Speaker 1Your clothes were like yeah, in your face and it didn't for whatever reason, because I was having so much fun. It didn't diminish the the the gameplay experience and the gameplay about that game was some was so Fluid and fun and that's coming from love that.
Speaker 2Yes, that's all gameplay. Yeah, that's so much fun and I felt like the.
Speaker 1It was one of those games that I if you're on paper, I probably would. I would have take issue with some of the stuff, with the way it ultimately turned out. I was fine with it because I like to be able to kind of play however. I want from the beginning and I mean in Hogwarts legacy you're unlocking spells Up until like the last two or three missions, like you're constantly curating your build, but the combos and the different stuff you could do and the different stuff you could do to trolls versus the different things you could do to bandits and what they were weak to and how you could Kind of CC and control them.
Speaker 1It was so fast-paced, it was so aggressive, it was so much fun. It felt very athletic and fast and I was not expecting that from a Hogwarts legacy game. And the world building the world building was really good. I actually felt like I was running around Hogwarts and I didn't mind doing like more of the tedious collection stuff seems like All right yeah, and like the, the open world felt it didn't feel like Overwhelmingly large for now, no necessary purpose.
Speaker 1I felt like they give you really reasonable travel options early on, like you get your broom kind of early but then you can get like the what's? It's like the dragon thing that you ride on.
Speaker 2Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1It's a hippogriff. Yeah, you're right, it's talking about fake shit here.
Speaker 3So One's like a mammal.
Speaker 1It was just like a, though. The world building was Very refreshing and surprising for a game of its type. So, and also really like that, that game gets a super thumbs up wife approval, because it's a lot of fun for them to watch or even play with you.
Speaker 3So I was just someone that isn't even particularly Harry Potter fan.
Speaker 1I'm not. No, I'm usually very critical of it and I I had a lot of fun. It didn't feel you and again it was another setting of where you're kind of following the lives of a kid. But it wasn't. It wasn't a kid setting, you know, like you were dealing with adult themes. It was not like, well, he's picking on me and I need to get the new muffin to get him to not pick on me anymore and there's Spider-Man does, get you this chocolate chip muffin. I love that mission.
Speaker 3It's great after he fights Venom.
Speaker 1He gets to find any muffin Cuz he's a bully.
Speaker 1You get muffins out. Yeah, anyway, it was just. I felt like it felt very adult themed and it was refreshing, very fun and that where you can say something, oh so, but the game that I played the most, that would probably take this. Take my Well. Actually I think I should give a nod to Liza P. Liza P also a souls like much better than will long, definitely heavy on the Perry mechanic World building very interesting. Felt very Dark souls to asks blood-borne ask, excuse me, blood-borne ass.
Speaker 2I was gonna say he chooses dark souls to over.
Speaker 1No, it's blood-borne ask in terms of like the theming and a lot of the pathing.
Critiques of Various Video Games
Speaker 1It's about no yo yeah, and it's kind of like a cool. Yeah, it's kind of like a cool theme, like they definitely did a really good job with their thematic setting and it was interesting. I just didn't like the. I Didn't like each. There was like three major types. I don't really remember them off the top my head, but like there was like puppets and then there was like minions and it's not like the puppeteers or Hunters or something like that. Like there was. There was three themes and you kind of had it. Each boss had their weakness and you had to play into that for that fight. And I I usually like to set my playstyle, get really comfortable with that and kind of roll with that. They kind of forced me to change and I did. I was kind of iffy on that, but I played through the game, got all the way to the end and it was. It was enjoyable. It's on a game pass, so definitely recommend anybody to check that out.
Speaker 2Was Jiminy Cricket in it?
Speaker 1Yes, actually I think he is. He sings you a song, really no.
Speaker 3He got so happy for it. What, what is it? I gotta play.
Speaker 1Baldur's Gate 3 was okay. I I enjoyed the. The play was okay. I enjoyed the playthrough. The combat was actually a major letdown for me, like the gameplay side of it when compared to Divinity original sin, which I felt like was way more, had much more depth to the kind of divinity isn't based on D&D.
Speaker 3It's literally just D&D. Yeah, all the same rules.
Speaker 1So that's why you probably don't like it as much and I really like I Divinity original sin, I I jumped off a cliff or I took a deep dive because there was so many Combo stuff. You had multiple action points each round and you could set up these really detailed combinations where you're setting oil field, then you like the oil field on fire. And D&D, like our Baldur's Gate I, kyle said follows much more of like a D&D style, so like it's much more. I felt like you had to do more prep work to get into a fight and in Baldur's Gate I was kind of just playing authentically and kind of running into fights versus. I saw a lot of people playing online. It's like, alright, make sure you dip this arrow in fire, hide in this bush, place this other character over here, and it was like I kind of just want to get in there and get into a fight, like an authentic fight, instead of just prepping for this super, you know elite strategy or whatever, and kind of just Experience the fight organically. I felt like had those options more so and Divinity original sin and less so.
Speaker 1In in Baldur's Gate, I still played the hell out of it and I got I think I finished act to, not sure if I got. I don't know if I got to act three fully, but I I enjoyed it it was. It was really fun game, bug freed at launch. It's good. But the game for me that took the takes the candle, marvel's Spider-Man 2.
Speaker 2I knew it, he's been playing it this whole time, kyle blood bull three.
Speaker 1Redfall yeah, minecraft, no Diablo for the re re, re release my crap. I think I put in like 200 hours into into Diablo, for I.
Speaker 2Grinded the shit out of one of the new class coming out Still no announcements.
Speaker 1I think they have. I think the new class comes with their expansion that they're selling. Their season 3 comes out soon. I didn't play really their other seasons content. I got to level 100 before their seasons dropped. I grinded that out. I even did it before, like the dungeon rework where they jumped experience up like by 3x. I think I had level 100 like within two weeks of launch, maybe even a week. I Loved it. I love the, the combat system. Oh, they just had an update today where you can finally, on mouse and keyboard, move with WASD. So instead you don't have to play the game.
Speaker 1Yes, wow, I know I'm actually that that change alone Might make me go back and just try it out.
Speaker 2What was the game?
Speaker 1released Uh June of last year.
Speaker 2Took them that long it wasn't on there.
Speaker 3It wasn't on there I don't think it was something people are really fighting for. Well, you go on the subreddit.
Speaker 1People are pissed off and it's like and then?
Speaker 3I'm seeing because it's added.
Speaker 1Yeah and I'm like why would you?
Speaker 3get curious.
Speaker 1It's just, it's an option, you don't have to do it, yeah.
Speaker 3I don't know, because I didn't like it or a game.
Speaker 1I didn't like having to click to move and then also click to to use a spell.
Speaker 3I have an MMO mouse. It's losing the board. Yeah, it's losing it's soul.
Speaker 1I don't get it. The whole point of an action ARPG or actually ARPG, okay, and that it's not a CRPG, it's an ARPG is that you're doing things in an incredible efficient manner, and it's not turn-based. Yeah, so it is what it is.
Speaker 3It a click to move? Feels weird in the non turn-based game yeah and, like some of the pathing could like all their game makes sense.
Speaker 1Yeah, because everything's turn-based yeah so, but I had, I had so much fun in that like crying kind of theory crafting. Come with my own builds. My builds always suck compared to like some people who have been playing all of the Diablo games and but I'll tell you, when I hit like level 80 and I finally got that, the rain mint of Something of rain and something rain mint.
Speaker 3It was a chest piece.
Speaker 1I think, yeah, something. And it basically made it to where every time my teleport, I used my teleport, which is like a basic skill that your sorcerer uses for great moment, it would stun and suck in enemies towards you, and so you would just like it would have this like pulling effect, it would stun them. And then there was all these multiplicative damage dealers I would. I went from like being really bad and kind of not enjoying the sorcerer class to absolutely Smashing everything, and it was so satisfying when every really bad.
Speaker 1When I finally got that, I would say it was like a below average experience because sorcerer at launch was really underpowered and Undertuned. But when I finally got that, that chest piece I think it was oh Dude, it changed my entire experience in that game it was. I remember I sent a photo to you guys. I was like fucking fine.
Speaker 2Look at all the damage I'm doing because I was just grinding.
Speaker 1So yeah, that was long-winded, but Diablo 4 I you know, for all of its Shortcomings, it did a great job of giving me a great experience and I definitely got my money's worth, but it didn't do a great job of keeping me long-term, because I really don't feel like I have enough. There's not enough content for me to go back to it right now live service yeah.
Speaker 3I Enjoyed the story of Diablo 4, but once I beat the story it's kind of about all I needed to really play Okay but remember that one Scene at the end of the story, where which one, the guy, steps near the pillar and he fucking dies. I Like, I can't think of them both, both of the elders in that group. Yeah, fucking bitch out at the end.
Speaker 2Like I remember when I saw it I was like what?
Speaker 1after everything, we survived. You got groped by a pillar and then that killed you.
Speaker 3I Did like Diablo 4, but I don't think that it it cracks my my top five for this year.
Speaker 1Wow.
Speaker 3Yeah, I well, I, to be fair to the game, I only played However long it took me to beat it 25 hours maybe 40. It was probably more than that, but it wasn't a lot, you know, and Because you got to like what level 50? Yeah, I got to level 50 and then I then I called it. Going through dungeons was a was hard with this guy.
Speaker 3You know, especially, especially when you're trying to do a lore playthrough. All right in the head, all right, guys, come on. He's like all right, we're in and I'm like reading, like watching a cutscene and you're like boss, is that 25%?
Speaker 1health.
Speaker 3I'm not even near you. Where are you at right now?
Speaker 2Alright, we're done with the dungeon guys.
Speaker 3We're like and I haven't even got out of the first room. Yeah, I'm still talking to the it's all about efficiency rinse, repeat, it's all about going. I didn't get. You didn't even give me a chance to soak in the environment.
Speaker 1I know well you were playing what you couldn't decide on what you wanted to play. Would you end up re-rolling as Druid, true it? That was your main, then right, you didn't like the way they look like.
Speaker 2Well, I didn't like. He's big boy.
Speaker 1You wanted to be a ugly road build.
Speaker 2I did, but I didn't like the same thing.
Speaker 3I am, in every RPG, a Barbarian warrior. I'm always. I'm either a warrior or, if it's an option, barbarian and every everything I play. Um, alright, so my list, first one I'll talk about is probably one that might Surprise you guys, but Octopath Traveler too. Whoa, I bought that game on a. Really that's where I got.
Speaker 3Really really swear to God. Wow, I bought that game on a whim. Surprise, it was on sale. It was like 75% off, so it's like five bucks and I went through and I beat that in like a week and I actually really thoroughly enjoyed it.
Speaker 2It's like a 16-bit RPG. Um kind of a retro style. Yeah, like Final Fantasy, right.
Speaker 3Yeah and uh you play through a story of um, you're all there's eight people, so that's what the name Octopath comes through Um, and you play through their story. You pick like a main person, but you play through their story. They're all trying to accomplish the same goal set in this really cool kind of Uh, fictional world where there's all these different styles in it. So there's like there's like this like western area, there's this more traditional like, uh, japanese, like sword play type area and like. Then there's like high fantasy area and they all kind of meet and it's just, um, not typically the type of game that I, I know like, would like and play, but I Bought it. It was a lot of fun and, uh, I actually played through it twice, so that, um, I would recommend that game to anyone that likes that style of game.
Speaker 3The next one I'm going to try that's kind of like that which I hear is getting a lot of good reviews to see a star, so I think I'll. I'll be checking that out next, but I haven't played it, so I can't put that on my list. But, uh, the other one that I liked a lot, um, I don't need to talk about it too much because we've already spent a lot of time on this. But spider-man 2, of course, um, but I'm thinking with you. I played through it and, um, I haven't played it since I beat it.
Speaker 2I want to like I I'm itching for a reason to, but right now there's no reason this one, this game, I will say I didn't like it as much as the first one.
Speaker 3Yeah, first one was the first one. I feel like the story was better. What was missing? Um, I don't know, there's something. This sounds silly, but I feel like the first one was a lot better at making you feel like spider-man. I think I'm thinking like this one. It had a decent story, but they changed a lot of did?
Speaker 1they just expect you to, like Already, feel that way because you played the first one and potentially I.
Speaker 3I really liked so the the best part about it for me was um Craven finally got like uh, the respect that he he was owed. Um, I really like Craven as a villain. Um, I thought that venom was a little bit weaker than I was hoping for and I feel like his, his arc was Kind of it almost felt a little rushed at the end.
Speaker 3Yeah it felt like it was really tacked on to the end and I felt like they didn't need to have Venom in there per se. I feel like they just had him in there to kind of sell the game, but they would have been fine making it an all Craven game and what's your opinion?
Speaker 2I think part of the being spider-man Is you need like the sinister six, but they killed Some of them all like the first one.
Speaker 3It felt.
Speaker 2It felt like classics by because you were fighting shocker, you're fighting vulture rhino.
Speaker 3You fought the finish, the sinister, the finster six. You fought the sinister six. You were peter. You relied on literally only yourself. Um, I felt like in the second one, peter just got his ass kicked a lot and he's constantly getting saved, even with the venom suit, and like For story reasons, they needed to have a reason for miles to be important. Like I love miles, but like I didn't like that. It almost felt like his job was just to rescue peter all the time.
Speaker 3That's what it felt like to me. Um Now, that being said, still a fantastic game. Still fantastic game. I would probably give it eight and a half nine out of ten. Yeah and uh, if you like spider-man, there's no reason why you wouldn't like that game.
Speaker 2It just feels like it's just compared to the first one.
Speaker 3It's a step down a little bit gameplay wise, it's a step up, but story wise, step down.
Speaker 2Combat and traversal way better, so much way the wingsuit and you just zipping around and I people like, did you do feel like spider-man? It's like, well then, don't use it. It doesn't, for it's the same thing, diablo, yeah the whole separate.
Speaker 1It's like fictional character.
Speaker 2Yeah, I need to fly between. Like it doesn't make sense. I don't feel like spider-man, unless I'm swinging. It's like the the traversal.
Speaker 3That's part of the reason why, um, I liked Phantom liberty when they introduced like the, the zip of boost thing. Yeah, I'm constantly just double jumping and zipping everywhere I go and my character is basically moving across the map at like 50 miles an hour, like I can't imagine just walking normally in that game now, that'd be just a waste of time. Um, the next one on here I really really liked and this this was, I guess I never had any problems but it had a kind of a rough launch. But, um, jedi survivor and you're gonna say that I really like Jedi survivor. I Uh only played through it once, but I did do a lot of playing Like after that, um, I almost hundred percent of it, but then I think something else came out and it took my attention away. Um, but I really liked that game.
Speaker 3I like I liked the first game in that series. I feel like this one was a step up, story wise, um, gameplay wise, it was similar. Uh, only downside is I felt like it was kind of weird. It needed like a story reason for you to learn really basic force powers up. Yeah, like um it. It felt like, um, it kind of Put unnecessary roadblocks in the story on some of the things that, like he had to recall his training to learn how to do whatever. It was like something really simple, like use, force up or whatever, and I'm like I don't know he was using pretty powerful force abilities in the first game.
Speaker 3I don't think that was necessary. So I feel like narratively, they could have found out a better way to handle some of that. Um, but I'm a sucker for Star Wars, so if it's even somewhat decent I'm gonna love it. Yeah, so I'm biased for that um, and I also like that. It was very, uh, souls like, specifically like Sekiro. Um, it was very peri heavy I guess the way it was Um, and it had one of the hardest boss fights Of any game I've ever played, not even like just like souls likes, but any game I've ever played it was uh, ogdo Bogdo.
Speaker 2I think that's the name.
Speaker 3Did you fight the two of them? Yeah, that's the one I'm talking about. That is probably the hardest boss fight. Um, potentially I'd have to really weigh it, but that's probably one of the hardest boss fights I've ever played in a game. Wow, um, especially on the hardest difficulty, it was a giant frog.
Speaker 1What's it called Ogdo, bogdo, ogdo.
Speaker 2Bogdo and like what's hilarious is he's like not even a main boss, side boss, and so you fight him once.
Speaker 3You fight his kid because even that first stuff, yeah, even that one stuff.
Speaker 2And then there's a secret room you can find when there's two of them and you're like uh, uh, uh.
Speaker 3This ugly bastard Uh yeah, there are ways to cheese it. I've looked up online Um so like you can.
Speaker 1Is it totally?
Speaker 3optional.
Speaker 2Yeah.
Speaker 3Yeah, all the hardest bosses in games always are. They're always optional because otherwise they'd Gate off a lot of their people from beating it. That's so like millennia. She's not even yeah she's totally optional.
Speaker 1And then they can go crazy with the difficulty, because that would just be, that would stonewall people.
Speaker 3Yeah, and then there's this whole challenge. Runs on like Defeat Ogdo Bogdo twins or dual 80 percent or whatever. You know stuff like that, Wow, Uh, so that go back to the other list.
Speaker 1Is it diff? Oh, the list. Sorry, um. Is it difficult because of the moveset in that game or is it because, like it's just tough, can't really make your weapon more powerful? They?
Speaker 3double team you a lot Um they're they can take your health down Um fast, really fast, really fast.
Speaker 3They hop around and they're basically like one shot, if you play in the hardest difficulty and they're hard to and they use a lot of power attacks and the game it it gets you so used to parrying in that game and that a lot of their attacks you can't parry, you have to dodge, and so like it also works against you in that sense, um, because it's sort of like, uh, you know it's like completely flipping the, flipping it on its head, um, but it's not poorly designed hard. You know, sometimes bosses are hard just because they're poorly designed, cheesy, mechanic or something Melania's freaking waterfowl dance.
Speaker 2Yeah, well, that's according to you, you know.
Speaker 3You just don't stagger with.
Speaker 2Yeah, you just don't stagger literally the one percent all Dylan has to do is hit her once, and then it's over.
Speaker 1He must have been the most over level Garmaged gamer ever. Wow, you know what I read?
Speaker 3I don't even know how on uh, unbelievable the average level people are when they beat the game is 150. I believe what. Yeah, I was only 105 when I beat the game.
Speaker 1That makes me feel good. I think I was like 140.
Speaker 3So you're? You're just below or just above average, not just below that's what my wife? Says Just below average.
Speaker 1Um, okay, so there's that one above average gamer and then average performer before I get to my my final game.
Speaker 3The other one on here that, uh, I Wanted to talk about is where is it? Atomic heart, no, not atomic heart.
Speaker 1Fine, round them Um oh.
Speaker 3Zelda, zelda, zelda is in my top for sure. Uh, I probably have 60, 65 hours in that um which I could play. A lot more probably. But uh, other things came out. But it's just like as far as sandboxes go, it's just like it's um, incomparable like to other, like it's it's, it's in the league of its own um, like every the freedom bit of like exploring you do is Rewarding like in a meaningful way too, not not like that was my one complaint with Hogwarts.
Speaker 2Is that like?
Speaker 1The whole southern part of the map the rewards were kind of lame.
Speaker 2I felt like for doing side content or for like doing like.
Speaker 3I felt like the map also. There was whole parts of the map that just weren't interesting to me.
Speaker 1Yeah, yeah, the whole southern part. You do like one quest on there and you're like you never turn back.
Speaker 2Yeah but like Zelda, everywhere you go.
Speaker 3There's something worth it. Yeah, so there's that one. I got to say that one, my. I Can easily put this at number one. In fact, I've made a lot of bold claims on this podcast before.
Speaker 3Probably at least once a month I say something really, like really shocking, but I I can probably safely say that this game is Comfortably in my top 10 now of probably all games of all time. Oh yeah, baldur's Gate 3. I don't know where I place it in the top 10, but it's in my top 10 and it's probably, as far as RPGs go, one of the most memorable and well-written RPGs I've ever played. It's one of the few games that have gotten me like this hooked from the get-go next to only in Recent years.
Speaker 3I mean Elden Ring and cyberpunk are probably the only ones that were like able to grab me that, get their hooks and me that deep and then playing through right now with my wife, it's just been an absolute blast, although I will say that co-op splits ring co-op is a little bit more buggy than just playing solo mode. Really like if you both trying level up at the same time, it crashes every single time huh.
Speaker 3So, like we know, we're like oh, you level up first and I level up. We have to learn our lesson, but other than that, it still plays. It plays very well and it also doesn't play 60 frames on the PlayStation 5 when you're playing in split screen.
Speaker 1Oh the player.
Speaker 3It looks like maybe 30. Yeah yeah, your eyes get used to it after a while, but like you don't really notice it until, like you start playing again by yourself and you're like whoa, this is like I don't know what it is, but it's what screen? It just doesn't. It has a harder time performing.
Speaker 1Yeah, interesting. I would consider that a demanding game.
Speaker 3I don't think so either, but like must be, something about it.
Speaker 2Well, I think it's because of how they, how it works, like it's basically two games Running as at once versus a normal split screen, which is like one instance because, like right, I mean you can talk better about it, kyle, but I played a little bit of split screen and I Could go talk to somebody. Meanwhile they could go talk to somebody else, yeah it'd be a totally across the map. And it's like they that me talking to the student didn't matter to them. Talking to the other person no.
Speaker 1But then they have to like. So your wife? Would she have to come and talk to the same person you can have? Different levels of relationship with each character, so they would have to then follow so like, for instance, lazzell.
Speaker 3I talked to her a lot and I did her quest and I'm the one that kind of did everything. And when she would talk to me she'd be like she would say I, I forget exactly what she says when you finally get like maxed out your relationship with her, but she's much more nicer and she's like Uh, what is it? What can I help you with? You know like that. And then when my wife goes to talk to her, she's like speak quickly, like because she does not like my wife's character, but like you can build, so like it's almost like you're playing. Like Dylan said, it's um, it's the same game, same instance, but it's um, each your own experience.
Speaker 2Yeah and and, so you wouldn't have to repeat what. Like if Kyle talked to this person, his wife wouldn't have to come back and repeat it. You can still, if he fails and like maybe she wants to come over and try a persuasion check or something that he couldn't do, she can do that, but like, if he completes the quest with that person, then it's completed.
Speaker 3But it's a shared world. It's a shared world, but you can still have all the same dialogue, though, to build a relationship.
Speaker 2Yeah.
Speaker 3Um, it's one of those things you just got to experience it. Um, baldur's gate, if you for one, if you like dnd Um and you want to see it like kind of flawlessly transferred into the gaming world.
Speaker 3This is the game for you, um, for two.
Speaker 3Uh, as far as like narrative, I don't think I've ever played a game that has this many routes and branching paths. Um, like, maybe ever like it's crazy it can be, and the the way you kind of just like simple things, like I remember I was blown away the first time I played when there was this, this door that I needed a key for, and it took me for, like I looked it up and I was like man, this is the longest like thread to just try and get this key. And then I climbed up to this rock and I was like I wonder if I could just like jump over it. And I did. And I was like, oh my god, you would never think of that. Like in any other game, like in Elden Ring, if you saw a door that it said won't open, your first immediate thought is not, let me see if I can find a way to just jump around this new like let me jump Up in the lindel over the lindel, over like their wall or something Like.
Speaker 3So it's just things like that, like it encourages you to think about it in the way that you would playing dd, where you Put yourself into character. Well, what would I try and do if I was here? And um, for the most part, they're pretty successful at that. So, um, I can't speak highly enough on that game. That's definitely what I'm going for the year.
Speaker 2I do want to say I forgot because it wasn't up there. I don't like to. I do too Great game.
Speaker 3I really did.
Speaker 2Oh, yeah, I saw you up there I know and uh, really great game, really great game, loved it. Um destiny to light fall Shut the fuck up, we can talk about how great that was right.
Speaker 3It wasn't bad. No, it's just not.
Speaker 1You're totally like cussing at my as your character now, like in terms of how you build them.
Speaker 3They've had like two seasons since then.
Speaker 1Though, too, that's like old I know they announced that they're done with that game, though. Right, they're done with seasons.
Speaker 3Uh, they're, they're changing their approach, but they're still.
Speaker 2I think they're playing us to still support it. There's the final, the trap, the. The final shape is the last expansion that needs to come out right.
Speaker 3Yeah, and I think their approach now is they're going to release, like, individual content, not in seasons, but you can definitely tell that their support is going to start going to lifeline levels.
Speaker 3So I mean they've got a lot out of this. I mean it launched in 2017. I think destiny to did um. So they, they made a lot of money. But they've also announced other projects they're working on, uh. They've kind of changed, uh they're they've shifted their focus. I don't know what's really come of them being bought by sony. I don't know if anything is going to come of that, but you know, I don't know. Maybe sony is having them work on something that has been announced. Yet they have that new shooter that just got announced Marathon that what is called marathon it's.
Speaker 1I know it's like that universe, yeah, so I thought I definitely built a brand around that universe, so it makes sense that it's going to be set in it. I don't know anything about marathon marathon's based on the marathon universe.
Speaker 3Which was like like pre halo or something.
Speaker 1Yeah, bungee's first game. Oh okay, never mind then.
Speaker 3I was like they're known for this, this universe.
Speaker 1I was like I thought it was a destiny universe. I'm like that's a great idea. Re, get a fresh new face on it.
Speaker 2It's what they did with Titanfall.
Speaker 1They're gonna release an embobo apex legends, right yeah.
Speaker 2An embobo, I mean it already was Right destiny is marathon.
Speaker 1No destiny, greatest embobo of all, one half ass. No, no, no, no.
Speaker 2I do see hi-fi rush. That's an honorable mention. I got on game pass really fun game, a lot of love put into it and it was just fun to play. This music base. The combat's all music based, so it's once you get the like I would. I would have to say starting the game is a little rough Because it's like different than any combat. You can't button mash, you have to hit the x on the beat and then you have to do the combos on the beat and then. But once you get into it and like you actually get good, they start playing these songs and you get hyped.
Speaker 1You're like I love it. It's like they got fast tempo.
Speaker 3Any game on this list that you haven't played but you're interested in.
Speaker 2Yes, I System shock. I thought I was gonna play that Because it inspired bio shock like that's. That's where it came from and they did a remake and I never, never checked it out, never checked it out. I.
Speaker 1No, I played all the games that I wanted to play. Not pickman 4 assassin's creed and rosh pickman 4. No.
Speaker 3Fire, fire emblem engage.
Speaker 1You know, looking back, that this was a hell of a year. 2023 was a great year in gaming, besides starfield. Can you buy a?
Speaker 3fire emblem in In the us. Yeah, I almost felt like for, because until the things became digital, nobody could play a fire emblem. Um, like pre digital era maybe because they wouldn't sell Uh physical copies in the united states. And I remember when smash bros like melee came out and marth Was like a character. I remember, like everyone, my age was like, it was like such a mysterious like who's marth, marth from fire emblem and everyone was like what, what is fire emblem?
Speaker 3and we, you couldn't. You had to like it was like pre youtube. It was like 2001, I think, when melee came out, so like you had to like Read about it on nintendo power yeah, like, wait for them to do a series on it, yeah, it's so like it was the weirdest, like most mysterious series, and now I think with the digital age, you could buy anything but I almost thought about getting into that one.
Speaker 2But I Read like the reviews and they're like it's not as good as the past ones. I'm like, okay, I guess I won't.
Speaker 3Yes, I won't do. What is it? Is it like a?
Speaker 2it's. It's like if you took persona and you added like a. From my understanding, you added like a rts type of system to it.
Speaker 3I only know about the characters, uh, marth Roy and Ike, because they were in smash bros interesting thing I know about them, yeah.
Speaker 1But 2023, I mean that was a banger of a year. I think we got an 2024 is loading up, I think what do we have?
Speaker 3We get in Alden Rings. We had a lot of, did you?
Speaker 2see that no steam.
Speaker 1What do you mean? So there, was um.
Speaker 2Oh, I gotta look it up now you gotta look it up.
Speaker 1What are you talking about? Was there a leak, kind of?
Speaker 2Kind of about Elden.
Speaker 1Ring, elden Ring.
Speaker 3It's funny about that is that that still beats, that beat. It doesn't even match any note or anything from that game.
Speaker 1There's no Um, there's no like anything that even sounds like I just come up with it one day, one day.
Speaker 3We got on and you were just.
Speaker 1Elden Ring. What a goofball.
Speaker 3For context, he would say that every time we played Elden Ring he would open up, was he?
Speaker 2trying to like Make fun of chocolate rain. I don't think so chocolate rain.
Speaker 1Maybe I don't. I think you just there's some subtext in there Just said it.
Speaker 3Maybe there's a puzzle in that hard to say what you were thinking, you just slow it down and flip it around. Is that game almost two years old now, or what? The?
Speaker 2steam version that's of Elden Ring has added a new DLC package Suggesting that the shadow of the archery DLC could be coming soon.
Speaker 1Wow, I needed to hear that. Right, that's good juice right into the veins.
Speaker 3You're welcome, I will be excited till they drop the first trailer. I'm not gonna let myself get hyped for something that could be still a long time.
Speaker 2Evidence, such as updates to the steam files and a leaked controller release controller.
Speaker 1What does that mean? Like an actual physical controller or like a controller for like the game files?
Speaker 3Who knows who.
Speaker 2Is there a?
Speaker 1new class that would point to the possibility.
Speaker 2What if it's a February?
Speaker 3what if they were like DLC, but it's for VR only? Oh, VR Elden Ring would be insane dude first person that'd be like freak, you know Dude.
Speaker 1I watched. Uh, there's somebody trying to complete a playthrough right now where every time he dodges in the game he dodges in life. It's insane.
Speaker 2For what?
Speaker 1Elden Ring. He's trying to do a whole playthrough where he's playing on a controller, but he has to dodge in my life, emotion I think it's like a pad that he like if he Presses off of it or something like that, then it senses the dodge like he has to physically roll.
Speaker 2Like full on roll.
Speaker 1Yes. So like he's like in these fights, he's like sweating his ass off and like tired his most fit dude ever.
Speaker 3Lobos did a VR playthrough of Dark Souls, and it was in first person too. Someone just modded. Yeah, it's modded, I mean it's obviously not a great. It's not an official. Release but that great, it looks wild. Yeah, like that'd be so weird to play a game like that first person.
Speaker 1No, if it's a VR, they definitely would not. I think they would really would not, really would not.
Speaker 3I think they will bad thought. It's a bad thought I do you think, what do you think they're gonna?
Speaker 2Miyazaki himself called me I want just the. The fattest, do you have?
Speaker 1his translator. Call you too. Yeah, speaking English.
Speaker 2I know enough Japanese to.
Speaker 3Pass. I hope that it's like Basically game size. I don't care if you charge me full price, I want it to be.
Speaker 2I want it to be massive, so shadow of the earth tree and you think, do we think it's gonna be behind the earth tree? Because I mean we technically go behind it, right Like the entrance to the dlc.
Speaker 3It's probably gonna be like in the final boss arena or something. If it has to do with the earth tree, it the name shadow of the earth tree implies that you're going back in time, plus they show what's. His name is already dead.
Speaker 2Mikaela.
Speaker 3Mikaela. So I think it's gonna sort of, In a very From software type of way, illustrate the story of how Mikaela died. Um, it's probably what it's gonna be. So you're probably it's probably gonna be the same map, but, um, redesigned because it's gonna be in the past, is what it. Why do you think it's past? Because Mikaela's dead.
Speaker 2And they think that's egg thing.
Speaker 3I don't think that. I know he's in there but I don't think that's gonna be the same. You have to touch it right. Yeah, you touch his finger and I don't know you probably, you probably have to touch his hand to go into his memories. That's probably what it is A behind Mogue. Yeah, that makes sense, I would love to see a pre-rock Kale it or something. Wouldn't that be cool? Just like Limgrave all beautiful, and then like Rodon but like even more powerful because his mind isn't destroyed Like, just like that would be.
Speaker 1Rodon was pretty powerful at launch. Then they nerf the shit out of him. Yeah, I mean like more wise.
Speaker 3I would love to see a full powered Rodon because he held up the stars.
Speaker 2He still did.
Speaker 3If he didn't have to worry about that and if he still had all his faculties, I think that could be a pretty damn what if his boss name is pre-nerf Redone?
Speaker 1That's his name.
Speaker 2Pre-rock. He was a tough mean, kyle.
Speaker 1Yeah, dylan, I'll never forget the reason we kept dying is because all the reason I was gonna say Dylan.
Speaker 2Dylan is because yes, how.
Speaker 3Because I kept wanting to get the final hit and he kept dying because he had like he would, he's like he'd be one shot and Dylan's like I need to get the final hit. It gets smashed.
Speaker 2I wanted to contribute to the fight. Kyle was just having me stand there Four times.
Speaker 1Was he really no, just wait here, I'll do this Four times in a row.
Speaker 3We died because Dylan wanted it like for a lower reason.
Speaker 2But sometimes you also died, and then I'd have to run in there and try and my best.
Speaker 1I was gonna say I remember you guys struggling for a long time because of that.
Speaker 3I mean, like it was like 40 minutes, maybe it wasn't like, it was like hours.
Speaker 1It was over two nights, wasn't it? No, we did it one day, not only is this a redone fight?
Speaker 3way harder. You have the most non-trustworthy memory.
Speaker 1No, I remember taking I don't know if it was 40 minutes I remember it taking you guys quite some time.
Speaker 3It was a while.
Speaker 1I remember you were like dude, this fight is way more ridiculous than it was. Just solo you got saying that.
Speaker 3It was because they nerfed it. I beat him on like my second try solo and then with Dylan it took us at least at least five. Yeah, maybe.
Speaker 1Redone gave me, gave me some trouble. I remember I think it definitely took me two nights, not as much as playing it, I don't think so.
Speaker 3I don't think it took you two nights. I remember struggling with him, I feel like we started playing at the same time. I beat him on like my second try and you like, maybe like 15 minutes before you.
Speaker 2You guys went to the castle and it was like already the festival and we still, to this day, no, no.
Speaker 1No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. One more, one more, one two, one, two, one two, yes, all right, so like two, two, three, one two. Yeah, one two, one, two, one two.
Speaker 3One, two, one. Good one, two, one, two, one, two, one, two, one two.
Speaker 1I got it to trigger and I went back there and I Kyle couldn't unlock it. He didn't have it, and so then I think he went and did something, and then he's like oh, I got it, so maybe you were writing him the whole time I was trying.
Speaker 3I think so. Maybe that's why.
Speaker 1And then you got to the festival and then we, we did it after some reason. I felt like I had a I'm everything frustrated and like I had got to get come back to this. Maybe I came back to it that night, but so I was like getting my ass.
Speaker 3We were level, like this was this was confirmed by two different sources. To summon the redon festival, you have to summon torrent and sprint past the two giants and Head for the nearest site of lost grace on nearby hill. Activate the site and pass the time to nightfall. That's what triggers redon festival.
Speaker 1Huh wait, say that again. The trip.
Speaker 3What were we at, though? After acquiring both halves of the dectus medallion, head to the grand lift of dectus location on the in Lernia. Stand on the raised platform and press the interact button with the used dectus medallion. This lift will take you to altus plateau, summon torrent and sprint past the two giants and head for the nearest site of lost grace on a nearby hill. Once summoning that grace, then you activate the site to pass the time to nightfall. That's what triggers redon festival.
Speaker 1I don't think so, I I disagree for what I did according to game I know for a fact, I did not have both sides of the dectus medallion. I don't think I even went to altus plateau I think you can trigger it by talking to eg After you do the manner. Well, that's one, and then you go back to him and he says, hey, go find blight. And then if you go down to nox Stella, not knock run then you find his little sign there. I, I don't know.
Speaker 2No, yeah, I really don't know. My trigger was the witch lady.
Speaker 3I think there's multiple ways.
Speaker 2There's what it is, the you know the one that gets the head she becomes a giant oh, yeah, so thank you. Yeah, yeah, but if you, my, remember my trigger, for it was talking to her, and then it triggers.
Speaker 1So I had a mage playthrough, so that probably that makes a lot of sense.
Speaker 3I never talked to her once my whole play through, though, so there's, there's gotta be multiple triggers ways.
Speaker 1This is still like. We still debate how to do this is ridiculous.
Speaker 3It's gonna be about two years ago, we don't even, and we have so many hours between the three of us and we still in these guide websites and even the wiki.
Speaker 1I'm not even sure it's not like really updated, like it doesn't make sense. Post launch from software doesn't care.
Speaker 3I played. I love that about that.
Speaker 1I played Elden Ring last night.
Speaker 3Did you? You did, I'm not gonna lie to you. I turned it on last night too, just to like I Just kind of, you know, dicked around for like 20 minutes and then I got on.
Speaker 1Actually do anything. But Austin wanted one help on an open-world boss, and then I kind of dicked around, that was it.
Speaker 2Did you do?
Speaker 1a summon list playthrough. By the way, it's actually impressive. Did it feel natural to pick? It back up, I Stunt. So he summoned the boss that he was struggling with. It was like ready to rage quit.
Speaker 3Summonless playthrough summons in a level 713 your chronic tree sent.
Speaker 1oh, that was tough I know, that was really so he's like I fucking, I don't even want to deal with this right now, I just want to fight like real bosses. I'm like, okay, they're all real bosses, he's so real and I just was like, I mean, it nerfs you hard.
Speaker 3Yeah, but I still was like doing my.
Speaker 2I didn't have much help, but I had my damage Reasonable, did it feel? Did you feel rusty playing it again at all, or oh yeah.
Speaker 1Yeah oh yeah, it's gonna take me. So here's the thing. I fucked up, guys, I'm not, I, I'm not gonna. I remember I went through like new game plus 10. Yeah this guy. I'm not gonna play the DLC that way, I'm gonna level your character and I'm gonna do it on base. There's no way I'm doing a fucking DLC with the horror stories that you guys will you typically that there's a hardest game.
Speaker 1I'm not doing it. New game plus max. I'm not do my first time through. There's just no way, because if it's like Eldenbees I'm not even exaggerating this Elden that Radigan and Eldenbees takes me like 20 fight. It's a 25 minute fight. It takes that long. And it's literally, it's ridiculous, it's really, it's so. I hate that fight so much. It's so long.
Speaker 3It's so funny because I have a lot of hours in that game too, but I don't have any characters near that level Because I've played from scratch.
Speaker 1Yeah, like five times. You're an altaholic.
Speaker 3Yeah, I Don't just play the same character over like what's? I mean, I just start over.
Speaker 2I think I got to new game plus four Was where I stopped I think I I might be around there too.
Speaker 3I do remember thinking that my second like new game plus was like Significantly easier than you game like by a long shot I did you reach.
Speaker 1I did like new game. I think I my new game plus five or six, maybe even seven.
Speaker 2Thank you or seven was I remember well no, no, I that definitely on.
Speaker 1I think. I'm on eight right now, or eight or no, I don't know whatever the max is.
Speaker 3That's what I'm seven is when it stops. That's the max.
Speaker 1Yeah, so I'm on the max one and the I think my new game plus five then okay. So if I'm on, if seven is the max and I think my new game plus five, playthrough was deathless.
Speaker 3Hell yeah.
Speaker 1I was cool. That was a good feeling and I was. I think I got it down to like I could beat the whole game about an hour and a half. I just Smashed through it and then I have. I had literally have a hundred.
Speaker 3What's that? The zipping the block, the? Oh shit, he's got the sword.
Speaker 1Yes, Um I uh.
Speaker 3For no context. Everyone watching that what the fuck? I don't know like just listening.
Speaker 1They're like how are they talking about?
Speaker 2It was about a speedrun strat where you had to time your blocks to a metronome, Metronome Yep and if you're listening to this on Spotify, it's not gonna make sense.
Speaker 3This way should come over and watch this on YouTube.
Speaker 1Yeah this speed? Yeah, the speedrun doesn't even make sense when you watch it. But the yeah, I did a deathless run through. But my, my lat, my new game plus eight, or whatever I'm on, is I have a hundred percent everything done. I've done every single side quest, every single. I've hundred percent of the game. To this point I Fought.
Speaker 2I was your favorite side quest.
Speaker 1I don't even shit, I spent so long since I played it. There was this one that was really interesting. It was, um, you know, the guy that gives you half the medallion. The albin, eric the albin, or, and he says, find the young lady or whatever. Yeah that one was actually kind of fun because it went, took me to a whole part of the world that I'd never Mean.
Speaker 3The giant lady that has her own like fan base on reddit.
Speaker 1Oh really.
Speaker 3Oh yeah, I didn't see that. What's?
Speaker 2her name Gamer nerds, just the albin Eric woman. I forget her name. No, it's.
Speaker 1Khaleesi, it's something and she's got wily.
Speaker 2Oh Ben see now, johnny, I think it's Nile. Maybe Nile he Lou right.
Speaker 1The Felly no and the Felly Lou's the main, I know it's not a daughter of.
Speaker 2It ain't in a Felly Lou but it's the daughter of one of the bosses. Yeah we're gonna. We're looking her up all I know is gamer nerds.
Speaker 1Latina.
Speaker 3Latina. Yeah, all I know is gamer nerds love giant women. Do they love the something about? I don't know what?
Speaker 1it is. It's just, it's like a easy thing to sip on, I guess.
Speaker 3I guess.
Speaker 1So yes, so like you find her church and she's chilling in it like took me to whole spot of the game I never really been and I was like, oh, this is kind of refreshing and fun. There's also the one where you do like the grapes, but they're not grapes or eyeballs.
Speaker 3Yeah, yeah with the blind chick. It's so weird, yeah, and then she finds out. Like a little weird yeah my, I do like the Felly Lou's because I like it Full story how she becomes like Lord of Limgrave. You know, I just kind of and how you're given a choice make her a puppet or not?
Speaker 1That's really cool to do like I found this really old guide that's kind of been updated loosely On Elden Ring and there's so many side quests in this game and it was like the volcanic manor was. I had never fully done some of those.
Speaker 3Yeah, I remember the first time he did it and you're like what? She's a snake.
Speaker 2Yeah, we're so like never found that out.
Speaker 1She has a huge fan base to a snake lady and I didn't like feed her in time, like I've rested, and that she like died or whatever, but it's not that big of a deal.
Speaker 3It's never really that big of a deal. No, when it had PC, dies Was Gorm.
Speaker 2The little halfling dude that follows you around the golem Bok.
Speaker 1Bok, the one that seems to us.
Speaker 2Yeah, and you have to like tell him you're beautiful.
Speaker 1Yeah, beautiful, that's my wife my mom's voice. What's that my mother yeah otherwise he's dead forever.
Speaker 3Yeah, he goes and friggin tries to Use one of those. Resurrection stones the the mimic that moved here, the, the, the respec stone. Forget what it's called, where you take it to your yeah, you take it to Rinala. He tries to use one of those and he dies if you don't tell him he's beautiful, because he's trying to change his being or whatever and the dung eater storyline that was I always kill him right away.
Speaker 3I'm like it's not a quest line, but I love the lore of a Vike. Is that his name? Oh the the almost the almost Elden, elden Lord. I I do his.
Speaker 2Like my, his first choice, my playthrough. I do his like storyline and I wish they would have updated it Like because they have the whole thing with Micola's needle where you can remove the flame, the frenzied flame, from yourself yeah, after using it to burn the earth tree, and it's like I saved you lady. But she's still mad at you yeah.
Speaker 1Still never you talk to you. So I did the Ronnie storyline complete my first playthrough.
Speaker 3I think everyone's done that one, ronnie's best, but that's the only ending on this thing.
Speaker 1What so, get this. I beat the game, right? Oh, you just didn't even see the fuck. I didn't even. I'm like I just beat. Elden Peace Interacted with the podium and that was it yeah.
Speaker 1Didn't click on the thing, didn't even see it. So I I've redone it and once I finished with this I haven't done. I killed the fire giant. I haven't finished this one because I don't want to lock myself in case the dlc Is in something that you get locked out of. You know, because, like the world totally changes after you. You sit at the grace at fire giant, so kind of just leaving it at that point. But uh, yeah.
Speaker 3I remember the the gold mask storyline. We're like the big revealers, or it's like uh.
Speaker 1Um, it's doing different poses and the guy's like Stunning on is America.
Speaker 3Oh Wow, this was worth it.
Speaker 1It was so much work to get that. You had to find out like all these obscure spots A special incantation from his statue. Yeah, and then you have to like read a white sign, yeah, and then you get his like like loincloth.
Speaker 3Yeah, I'm like, all right, I was. I mean, that's just from software quest design, for there's so many that, because they don't hold your hand on anything, Nothing, there's like there's no quest logs, they're just like have fun, get out there.
Speaker 2Especially how many, like, like billy said, there's so many points in the game that locks you out of stuff. I know like, and you don't know, you just do it and it's like oh.
Speaker 1Volcano matter. You get locked out real quick. There's a bunch of shit.
Speaker 2You burn the urtri or the city bash.
Speaker 3You're like, uh, oh, okay, I just doomed this whole section to fail because I Accidentally spoke to this one person before I was supposed to. You know, the one thing that I wish you could change is that one blind chick Not the one that eats the shabri-ree grapes, but the other one that's like um outside of the fort, um in like south limb grave Uh, her dad.
Speaker 1Oh yeah, she dies no matter what.
Speaker 3There's nothing you do to save her, and her dad is always like.
Speaker 1Because he's in the castle.
Speaker 3Yeah, he's like, and then he he goes all crazy and you have to kill him later out of the game. But like I wish there was some way to save her.
Speaker 2But the only way to save her right is just not to do it.
Speaker 3I think she dies no matter what. Even if you ignore her, she will eventually just die and there's nothing you do about that. And he's like uh, she needs to not worry about me, I have a duty to this castle. And then you go back and she's like dead. And he's like how could I have done this? How?
Speaker 1could I have let it happen? You left her on the side of road in a world that's like, filled with dudes trying to kill each other, and she's blind.
Speaker 3And she's like that is purely your fault.
Speaker 2Sir, Can you imagine like there's so many like fantasy worlds where I'm like, oh man, that'd be so fun to just visit that world, you know not the land, between, not the lands that would be like constantly trying to survive but then even when you die, like you, you're not dead until you get to the tree, like you have to do this pilgrimage as a zombie. It's just wild stuff, yeah, from software worlds made by an alien from software.
Speaker 3Worlds are not the type of world that it's fun to play but not to visit sekiro.
Speaker 2Appreciate, I would go blood board everyone's turning into the fuck now just horrible this the haunt but that's a dream right, so you're fine yeah, well, in real life uh that probably is not that much better.
Speaker 3Yeah well, you have to wake up again. You head chopped off by gearman in the blood board where could people find us?
Speaker 1they can obviously love.
Speaker 3This is like uh, this is like uh, this was like a vintage episode, I know we talked about elton ring and they just got sucked into that for like 30 minutes, so good we gotta, we gotta mention the classics like billy milania not only not is the hardest boss I've ever so I don't even think I'll beat this game I know one plate one fight and you were already like that was your mindset to give context to anybody who hasn't seen the previous episode.
Speaker 2We were, we were going. We all played through the game together. I was a little bit behind them. They started around the same time. As usual, billy gets to milania, who's like she's a side boss. We had no clue, though. This was like game was fresh out. We didn't know there was no nothing out yeah, billy says that the not only is this the hardest boss, I don't even think I'll beat this game like and we're like, oh shit, and then and then come to learn that that's a side boss.
Speaker 1I thought, because the dude says, collect the six runes, so are the great runes.
Speaker 3So I'm fucking going to find them all and I'm like, all right, this is last but this is one of the funniest parts about that whole thing that you're not saying is he said this with such like, like drama and such reverence for this boss, and he had only fought her once at that point and he had already like resided to that mindset but to be to be fair to billy, she beat you so bad that it crashed your game and you lost.
Speaker 2That was multiple hours of progress, ten or twelve hours, yeah, ten or twelve hours. She made you her bitch she fucking fired up.
Speaker 1I'll never forget. I watched the cussing and I'm sitting back relaxed. I'm like, wow, this chick looks good, she's gonna be tough. And then she comes out.
Speaker 3She's like a one stab attack instantly kills me one shot, and now it's like and then?
Speaker 2not only this is the hardest boss I've ever fought.
Speaker 3And then you came to and you're like wait a minute, it's guy. Guys, something's wrong, something's not right here. Oh no, oh no. I just lost 12 hours of progress it reset me to like the last stab your safe file.
Speaker 1Yeah, she went I remember I was so depressed. I was like guys, what do I keep playing like? I was like god, do we gotta do man?
Speaker 3I remember, I understand I remember you told me it was like it was like five minutes of silence where you're not saying anything, and then you dilated like already got off at this point and you go not kyle, what do I do? What? I'm like I don't know. You keep playing. I mean, it's up to you. How badly do you want? And you were like I have to seriously consider if I'm gonna keep playing though after that. That's that heartbreaking. I'm like I'm sorry to hear a bit. We're at work, literally. I get home and he goes, so I'm back to where I was I'm like grinding my ass off dude.
Speaker 1I was like it's all good, I got back, we're gonna save it. I created like an offline save file, like in another folder.
Speaker 2I was like this is never happening again. That was the thing when elden ring first came out pc. They had a lot of crashes and a lot of save it just wasn't format.
Speaker 3I mean, it just wasn't developed for the pc yeah which, unfortunately, is kind of uh, the status quo, the status quo for a lot of unless it's like a lot of these ports a lot of the ports, just they. I don't know from software is weird too, in that I love from software, but they, they do things for them. I don't think they've ever really like, like, done, they've like. They don't really succumb to the desire look at multiplayer.
Speaker 3They don't. They don't succumb to the desires of the masses. They do what they want to do.
Speaker 1Yeah, and it is what it is do you know what like back is on uh, on the game, like not escape, it's not like uh what is? It q you for quip maybe no it's like it's back I.
Speaker 1I had to restart my pc because in the character creation I got stuck and I couldn't figure it out because all originally I couldn't. I couldn't even navigate the settings menu because I could. I didn't know how to go back it's wild because all the tooltips were on xbox controllers and I'm like I'm fucking using a keyboard, else what are we talking about here?
Speaker 3so I remember when it was so painful you started playing before dylan and because you know in pc. Yeah, we launched earlier, like eight hours early, I don't know, and I remember using lind you text us and you were like, uh, like I just beat my first boss and I was like, damn okay cool, and I didn't know you were talking about.
Speaker 2Um, and to add context, this was right when he started it, like within a couple, like 30 minutes, yeah. So me and kyle's expectation of this was holy shit, yeah, billy beat this first boss, so you he.
Speaker 3So billy was talking about the tutorial like soldier of god rick good ol rick, I thought that you were talking about the tree set no. So when you said I beat my first boss, I was so fucking stubborn that I was like if billy can fucking do this. I can't. And I spent like at least two hours doing nothing but finding tree settle till I beat him and then come to find out you're like I haven't even fought that guy yet. I was like what, I thought you died there like first try.
Speaker 1Neither have you found the tutorial. No right, you guys walk past it yeah I didn't even go down there even though I don't know what you're talking about. I fought this soldier, god rick guy.
Speaker 3I was like what the hell, soldier of god rick?
Speaker 2and it's literally just an mpc like like normal night, you know yeah so, um, one of my other favorite memories from elden ring since, since we're reminiscing to bring a backup old times we talked about before the episode actually is there's a boss called fire giant and uh, when billy got his memories involved me well, no, and then you guys go tell us you know, I don't know.
Speaker 3Please, go ahead.
Speaker 1Um no, I said they involve me.
Speaker 2Yes, yeah, billy comes on on the comms right and we're all on discord and he's like guys. He's like this boss is huge. He's like this is probably the biggest boss. I can't even fit him in my screen. Yeah, that's word for word what he said, so my mind's going crazy super all my monitors.
Speaker 2Yeah, he, yeah, I can't even fit him in my screen all of that is true, by the way, and you're like I'm riding up and I'm I'm basically barely the size of his toe and I'm like whoa, I can't even lock on there's so much and then come to find out. I get to him and he's like 15 feet long, yeah here.
Speaker 3I was 15 feet tall. He's thinking he's gonna find kronos from god of war.
Speaker 2Look, if anybody look up kronos from god of war and like he holds in the game, he holds kratos and kratos is like in between his finger and his thumb, that big that I was expecting that. I was like, holy shit, this is gonna be crazy.
Speaker 3And then I was like oh, I still remember your reaction because you get into the arena and you were like, so does he like summon out of the ground or something? And I was like no, you don't see him. And you're like this like red headed guy, and I was like yeah, that's him.
Speaker 2And you're like, oh, and you said it just like that oh, I was like so is this like a little verte boss that we fight before this generic enemy?
Speaker 3if it was at least the size of that, like that kiln, you know, then yeah, you'd be like oh shit, I don't think a boss that size would work in a game like elven ring, though didn't you fight the skeleton guy in one of the?
Speaker 2yeah, but it was kind of gimmicky.
Speaker 3Um, in dark souls 3 because yeah, it's the, it's that big but you're kind of really just fighting the arms it wasn't like it was more of a gimmick boss, it wasn't. Yeah, oh yeah.
Speaker 1And then you fight dragons, like in this in elven ring, that white dragon in kaolin, and you get 75 000 runes from yeah, dragons bigger than the giant yeah the ancient dragon in dark souls 2 is huge I remember yeah, fat thing is massive.
Speaker 1Um, I remember being bummed out because you guys were able to play with each other and I couldn't it was on pc and I remember just always being saddened by that. I was like all right, you guys. Just what are you guys doing? Nowhere it was like out on the outside looking at you guys beat that boss together, oh, we're like we're a knock trailer right now.
Speaker 3Yeah, running around, so it's nice to be fair, we didn't like. We did a few things together, but we were mostly doing the same thing as you. We were just on the same chat line doing our own thing yeah, because on my hand, I think we beat redawn together.
Speaker 2We beat one of the great spirits, we did the worst one the deer you know the yeah, um, we did the second version. I think this the harder one.
Speaker 3The harder one, yeah um, we didn't do like any other than redawn. That was like the only like kind of main boss. We did together and everything else was just like I was bored because I had already done what he was doing and so I was like, hey, do you, do you care if I join, kind of thing. It wasn't like something mean, it wasn't like dylan really needed help, it was just like first shits and giggles not doing it yeah, except on malania big bonk boy.
Speaker 1First try will second, second try, second try.
Speaker 3He phased her to this day to this day, billy is still pissed about that.
Speaker 1I'm telling you there's probably 10 people in the world that's done that I. I will die on that hill. There's no way. First fucking week. That's like not much footage, that's like playing guitar hero beating through the fire flames without ever playing second try I played uh iron man on expert so I gave through the fire. Okay, all right? No, no, no, no no no, no, this is easy guys one of the big bonk.
Speaker 3What are the things you have to consider is dylan's playstyle was perfectly suited for a malania perfectly because if you, if you stunned her, that's it you just mean, and she does the mini stagger all he had to do was get one good hit on her and then she's pretty much fucked.
Speaker 2Yeah, especially I mean they took it. They nerfed it, which I hate. The bloodhound step was just her range if, if she did wait because her stire she would recover but her range, you were using all that, I'll run it yeah, he could even roll.
Speaker 3Yeah, the bloodhound step, because he was so massive yeah, I needed that, otherwise my build didn't function.
Speaker 1You were heavy rolling in that game, but you just never.
Speaker 3He was wielding the great sore to. He was willing to Great sort like heavy armor to fucking heavy armor guts swords, yeah, with heavy armor, like he had the blood house up otherwise guys to shove fat fat rolling, yeah, and your blood on your build. You couldn't stagger at all. No, you literally.
Speaker 1Favorite memories really from us playing that would be that that one right there. Yeah cuz, I remember, just not Believing. I remember you were like still don't really believe no what? Yes, not, oh, I mean, I took long for me for to say that sentence. Then it took him to fucking beat the boss. I do remember you.
Speaker 3You, yeah, you got into phase two and you're like, yeah, that is pretty tough. And then you're like I just beat her and you beat her too, like you killed each other, right? Yeah, it just happened in the rot, like so he killed her and then the rot got him, but it it happened in just the right time to where it's still counted as a. What an epic. Wait, I know, fight like it's, like that's so anime.
Speaker 2Like it's like the Samurais that run past each other.
Speaker 3Yeah, and they're both just they both stand there, you think they're okay, and then they both like you must have died a good little bit after killing her, because I did because I didn't have whole talking thing where it's like you are Great.
Speaker 2Yeah, and I didn't have any of the, the estus, so like I was like come on, I was like hurry up because my health was going. I was like hurry up.
Speaker 3My favorite memory was actually not from that, but we'll all three of us are playing together and we made malarnia, and we, we made a character. We called him malarnia and his tagline was my name is malarnia and I've only known defeat. Yes, that's right, because we're trying to speed run it. Melania's was I've never known defeat. Yeah, so we changed it to have only known defeat. He was ugly.
Speaker 3He was the ugliest character, and Dylan and I were like we're playing Elden. Drink is what we were playing. Billy was serious. He wanted to get this, this play.
Speaker 2He had a strategy down, I did.
Speaker 3Dylan and I were drunk in like 30 minutes. Every time you die, we're supposed to take a shot. And On top of like what were we drinking? Like it was, it was like vodka. It was clear alcohol. Yeah it was, and so like we got drunk.
Speaker 1It was fake alcohol pretty damn quick, it wasn't you just have a much higher tolerance, I know, but I remember that day and I remember how much I drank.
Speaker 3It was like Kirkland brand like fucker.
Speaker 1Oh, so walked into the game and I was like did you take your shot, nancy? Let's get back in here, we're gonna beat this game.
Speaker 2What I remember is every in between the boss. We beat me, we beat firejoy, I don't know why?
Speaker 3Cuz I've always doing the oh, is that?
Speaker 1is that so? I remember beating redon and I was like guys I beat on controller. I'm so proud of myself and these guys refused to let me have any kind of hype. All you guys were saying was you played controller before. It was so pissed at that comic. This is like I've been playing controller games in like 15 years.
Speaker 2In that play through.
Speaker 3I was pretty much useless, like before we even got to a boss fight. I like I, I got drunk really quick I was.
Speaker 1So yeah, I thought for sure you guys were gonna carry that cuz about your controller experience.
Speaker 3I was losing on the simplest of things because I would have my coordination was gone so fast.
Speaker 2Yeah, billy would be the closer when it came to bosses. We'd get there and we'd be like it would take shots, and then Billy'd come in, all right. I'm reading right card We've got as far as being fired right.
Speaker 3So we got close. It wasn't wow. We made it all the way there. I still have that save on my I was actually just looking at that the other day Wow, and we had beaten fire giant. I was like damn I didn't we beat fire giant?
Speaker 2you did, you did.
Speaker 1I did.
Speaker 2We were gone by that point. Yeah, I did my fire.
Speaker 3Kyle was probably asleep fire giant was actually the boss that you were like, holy shit, I beat fire John. Was it that one fire giant on controller? We're like cuz I, that's a shit.
Speaker 1Wow, we actually made it really fucking far.
Speaker 2Well, you knew the strat.
Speaker 3We went and got the spear from the volcano manor plus nine, and then yeah, let's use that we use that we use the trap to get you into volcano manor. Yeah, that's in the bottom of Lernia.
Speaker 1I had like everything down. I had memorized the exact path that I wanted to take.
Speaker 3I know and I think, dylan, I came in with different intentions, completely different. You're like.
Speaker 1I just want to learn.
Speaker 3And you're like no, we're beating this game today.
Speaker 1You guys have to leave in like three hours.
Speaker 3We got to do we started playing at like 11. We left at like 5, 30 or 6. Yeah, so we're under. So that's fun, that's about as far as we got.
Speaker 1That was fun. God, what a great game. I want to play the co-op mod again I.
Speaker 2Would love to. I got on steam I.
Speaker 3Would love to. We probably have to do all kinds of shit, no, to get it playable again.
Speaker 1Yeah, we will have to update the mod again because it has to run on the current version. But yeah, that game is.
Speaker 3We. I mean at this point we'd have to just start over. We did co-op because we got actually pretty far between you and me.
Speaker 1You're right, cuz Dylan played for 10 minutes like all right. Well, I'm bored, so good night guys, not even having fun. My computer is potato. Good night, exactly what I said is 1060. Gtx 1060 sucks. I'm going Ben. Good night, boys.
Speaker 3Almost any son. Good night boys, all right guys. Well, I'm out of here.

Speaker 2The land, bad it's just rocks.
Speaker 1Everybody's an indentured servant, so there's one radio tower.
Speaker 3You have to hike 12 miles up a very steep hill to get to. So if you want to call anyone, all you got to do in Canada?
Speaker 1Canada's real chilly. You just set up your own town and you just go right back to the stone ages.
Speaker 3However you want. It was a big bear problem, but how north are we?
Speaker 2We make sacrifices.
Speaker 3There's 30 days of night we're. We're as north as you can get we have a deal with the bears.
Speaker 2We have a deal with them. Yeah, they eat a baby.
Speaker 3Yeah, it costs $42.99 for a gallon of milk at the like store 10 miles from here, because that's how expensive it is To get stuff shipped in.
Speaker 1We employ dr Cronin law. So you know, it's just, I think, between the three of us, we're, I think we're humble, fair. Yeah, exactly we. We have our throne, the other nine people, wives and children, and that's it and our, our wives.
Speaker 2Yeah, we share.
Speaker 3Multiple wives. Yeah, if you come here with your wife, that's our wife.
Speaker 1It's our wife. Hasn't happened much, but when it does, doesn't it sound like an amazing place you want to visit guys. It's called come a, come a googoo, come a, come a googoo, whatever I said.
Speaker 2I think you changed the name, but that's fine, we're the kings of it, you should be cheaper.
Speaker 3Googoo, she bet. You changes every so often. We change.
Speaker 1Yeah, we're very progressive, I would say Victory is good. I'm on serfdom.
Speaker 3That sounds. It was good.
Speaker 1But it evolved into not. I think, this is the best party up there right here. Elden ring highlights were best part for me. That memory lane.
Speaker 3You know the work, the best part about the whole radio tower thing. I said we actually do get service but we sap all of it for this podcast. So if you live here, that's why you have the height.
Speaker 1That's all my own fact, all the wires in the entire city route right through our Table right here, and we can turn them on and off individually and we can also filter.
Speaker 3Yeah, we filter it if someone asked somebody that lives in our town who are they? They have to say I am Katie ratio.
Speaker 1Yep, I am Katie ratio.
Speaker 2This is they can't talk to outside people we're. Are we moving to Canada? Are we?
Speaker 3starting a cold.
Speaker 2We'll put a fence around the area.
Speaker 1Yeah, I like it. Yeah, I have to be hi. Yeah, barbed wire to keep out the mountaineers? Yes, and electric and electric.
Speaker 3Yes, yes. And then, when people come and knock him, they have to pass our test again.
Speaker 1Yep, and then we get in the test. Is we decided?
Speaker 3Yeah, we decided that, like every time we do, it's different.
Speaker 1Oh, we mix it up. We decided to try again. Progressive.
Speaker 3You never know what we're gonna ask of you.
Speaker 1What are your thoughts on a? I?
Speaker 3and what do you get out of return?
Speaker 1Nothing, absolutely no.
Speaker 2High taxes and freedom from the US government following us indentures.
Speaker 3It is yeah.
Speaker 1You get a life of service to us. Doesn't sound great?
Speaker 3to the community really to our presence to our community. I'll place a sleep every night. What more can you ask for? I can't guarantee food They'll have to build it, but yeah.
Speaker 2We don't. We aren't even near a river.
Speaker 1So, yeah, the food goes again. They kind of like it goes us.
Speaker 3First we gorge and then they get the last closest water source is five miles from here and it's like an old bog.
Speaker 2In fact, although to it's.
Speaker 3It's because we're really north, so it's like a frozen over bog.
Speaker 1What if we don't like what you know the president saying can we overrule, overthrow?
Speaker 2No, that's. We need to stick together.
Speaker 1We have the only where the we're the car. We can't cause any drama. No.
Speaker 3You can invite friends up if you'd like, but they're only allowed to visit on February 1st. I was gonna say they couldn't leave.
Speaker 2That too, there's no guess, because one day a year one day you're February 1st and it's a river about the good John Galt society.
Speaker 1You guys ever heard of this? Yes, it's starting to sound like.
Speaker 2And you know what we could do. We'll all ascend. We could have them be a live audience during the podcast. No, they need, they need to.
Speaker 1That's part of their civil, that's their part of their indoctrination yeah, like that it's, it's your, yeah, it's your propaganda Out weekly propaganda exposure but they can't make any noise.
Speaker 3No, no, no well, that's, that's the new goal. Put it on the vision board, we'll get it, you write it down I won't, don't need to we have a nine people that took really good notes.
Speaker 1We'll be quizzing them later.
Speaker 2Yeah, okay, okay.
Speaker 1This is just local government, refreshing how it all works.
Speaker 2So shut up.
Speaker 1All right, find us on YouTube, or don't, because that was trash. Thanks guys, bye.
